The meeting is being held to organize the 15th NAM Summit to be held in Egypt in July. Over the last four weeks, diplomats have met in New York preparing the Final Declaration document.
This will be signed in Havana by the end of this week. The document contains the NAM's working guidelines and reaffirms its policies.
It includes an assessment on the current international situation.
And, it deals with other issues like de-colonization and self-determination processes, regional conflicts, human rights, migration, drug trafficking, disarmament and natural resources.
