Guo Tao stars in new comedy

Chinese star Guo Tao plays the lead in new comedy "Gao Xing" or "Happy", adapted from well-known Chinese writer Jia Pingwa's eponymous novel. Directed by A Gan, the film tells the story of warm-hearted waste collector, Liu Gaoxing, played by Guo. The movie is about the lives and dreams of migrant workers. Liu helps friends in need even building a small plane to take the corpse of his co-worker home. The comedy is flavored with the strong accent and local culture of Shaanxi province. The film will hit screens across China on February 4th.
