The two giant pandas given to Taiwan by the Chinese mainland are adapting well to life at the Taipei Zoo.

Zoo keepers prepared a new year feast for Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan.The platter included vegetables, fruit and steamed buns. However, their favorite was their staple food -- bamboo.
The pair didn't like the local bamboo when they first arrived in Taiwan last year. They lived on a mix of bamboo from the mainland and Taiwan for a while, and then switched to only local bamboo.
