Keane rejoined the north London club on Monday. He left Tottenham in the summer to realise his boyhood dream of becoming Liverpool's number seven. But Keane failed to set up a regular place in Rafael Benitez's squad and scored just seven goals for the club.

Robbie Keane of Spurs, said, "I never regret things that I have ever done in football. Things happen for a reason. I went there, it didn't work out for me. I am back here now at a fantastic club with a fantastic manager who believes in his players. I am really excited and looking forward to having a good relationship with Harry and the rest of the squad and it is one of those things in football. Sometimes it works out for you and sometimes it doesn't but I think I do, I never have regrets."

Spurs had a bad start to the season, and manager Juande Ramos was replaced by Harry Redknapp at the end of October last year. But right now Spurs are still seventh from bottom in the standings--just one point away from the relegation zone. On Sunday they'll face local rivals Arsenal, where Keane will lead the team out at White Hart Lane.
