Haiti school collapse kills at least 30

At least 30 people are dead after a school collapsed in Haiti. The death toll is likely to rise as rescuers dig through the rubble.

Officials say about 500 students from nursery level up attended the school, but they don't yet know how many were inside the building when it collapsed.

There's no word on the cause of the tragedy. One parent says a structural defect may have caused the second floor of the school to fall down onto the first.
