British Foreign Secretary: Wens visit to London to bring productive results

Heading to Europe next week is Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Top task for him is to build on trade ties and also co-ordinate China's efforts in handling deal the global economic slowdown. The Foreign Ministry describes it as a "Journey of Confidence".

Premier Wen will stop over in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Britain and the EU headquarters in Brussels. He will also attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.



Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband thinks Wen's visit to London will bring about productive results. Miliband was speaking in Manchester while meeting with representatives of overseas Chinese living in the UK.
