Over 40 heads of state or government will be in Davos to discuss this year's theme of shaping the post-crisis world Wednesday. The head of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, has called for unity among companies and governments trying to steer a path clear of the global financial crisis. Schwab wants to include the banks that helped create the economic problems.
Klaus Schwab said, Because this is a crisis of confidence, it is also a crisis of trust and to re-establish trust you have to know what is happening afterwards, you have to have some predictability. Now, whether it is correct to integrate the banking community, those who among others originated the crisis, I think it is very important. Because those people are not only part of the problem, they are part of the solution. We need a well functioning financial community, we should not forget, otherwise we don't have a well functioning economy.
