The major exhibition hall covers 30,000 square meters and the other two halls are big enough to accommodate four large passenger jets. The pavilion's roof will be covered with energy-producing solar panels. The structure should be completed by September, and is expected to attract 125,000 people everyday during the 6 month event.
After the expo ends, the pavilion will be turned into an exhibition center part of a new commercial hub in Shanghai.
