With the Chinese Lunar New Year just a month away, China has announced a performance tour aimed at bringing quality entertainment to overseas Chinese.
At a press conference in Beijing, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council said that four troupes of artists will bring concert performances to Chinese living in North America, South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Among the artists will be renowned vocalists Song Zuying and Yan Weiwen.
The Office has been organizing such performances since 1984, entertaining more than one million show goers.
