The new service will be offered to passengers whose planes take off from 25 domestic cities. Air China is the first domestic air company to offer this kind of service for passengers.

Many passengers previously chose to transfer at airports in South Korea or Japan to fly to other countries, instead of Beijing, where they were asked to pick up their luggage before they could board their plane again. Air China says it will expand the service to more domestic cities in China.
