The Chinese naval fleet bound for an anti-piracy mission in the Gulf of Aden has completed its first refueling at sea.The supply ship Weishanhu loaded the two destroyers with several hundred tons of fuel on Tuesday afternoon.

A fleet support official says the operation was highly efficient. The fleet set sail from China's southernmost province of Hainan on Friday. It has now entered the Indian Ocean after passing through the Malacca Strait.
