Christmas came early for 'X-Factor' winner Alexandra Burke - she officially scored the UK's Christmas number one with her debut single.

Her version of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' has broken records - selling 576,000 copies to become the fastest-selling single by a solo female artist.

But the success of 'Hallelujah' doesn't stop there because it's not only in pole position but at number two in the UK charts as well.

Driven by a bid to stop Burke reaching the top spot, Jeff Buckley's 1994 take on the track is in second place - making it the first time that the same song has been at number one and number two in the UK charts for 51 years.
